Shipping and Delivery

PLANTS

While we take every measure possible for your plant to arrive to you intact and healthy, we can not control how your order is handled while in transit to you.   At this time, Shady Exotics does not accept returns on plants, but we do guarantee every plant will arrive healthy as we inspect and approve each plant prior to shipment.   If the plants in your order are damaged during shipping, please reach out to us immediately with pictures of the plants, as well as the condition of the box they were shipped in.  Send this to info@shadyexotics.com  and we will get you taken care of.

TERRARIUMS

While we take every measure possible for your terrarium to arrive to you intact and healthy, we can not control how your order is handled while in transit to you.   We do not accept returns on terrariums or DIY kits, because why would you want to return a terrarium that will bring you a lifetime of pleasure?  If the glass or the plants in your kit or terrarium are damaged during shipping, please reach out to us immediately with pictures of the glass and plants, as well as the condition of the box they were shipped in.  Send this to info@shadyexotics.com  and we will get you taken care of. 

We guarantee healthy terrarium plants on arrival. If they're significantly damaged or die within 7 days of arrival, we will replace them at our expense.  Send photos to info@shadyexotics.com  and we will get it fixed.

ISOPODS

Isopods may be shipped through Fedex 2day or overnight. Shipping is offered throughout the US (excluding Hawaii), legalities of keeping species in particular states is the responsibility of the customer. 

Isopods are shipped Mondays and Tuesdays. Live arrival guarantee is with all animals, if there is an issue on arrival the buyer MUST notify the seller within 1 hour of receipt of the animal(s) in order to receive a replacement/refund. Photos are required for proof of death. Animals must be laid out clearly when submitting photos. 

** If destination temp is below 40F or above 80F, the package will be marked hold for pickup at the shipping hub for a valid live arrival guarantee. The package can be delivered to door by customer request, but this voids the guarantee.
